Annual Benefits Enrollment

Enrollment for 2025 benefits is Nov. 4‑15, 2024

Annual enrollment is your opportunity to make sure you have the right benefits in place for next year. Take a moment to review the various Quick Links resources including ALEX, our interactive online benefits recommendation tool. Then, enroll by Nov. 15 if you need to make a change.

Important:

Employees who are new hires, experience an employment status change (e.g., part-time to full-time) or a qualified life event (e.g., marriage, birth of a child) prior to Nov. 4, must:

  • Enroll in 2024 benefits before enrolling in 2025 benefits.
  • If applicable, you must complete the dependent and/or qualified life event eligibility verification process with Verifi1 before you can access the 2025 annual benefits enrollment. After you complete the verification process you will be given two weeks to complete annual benefits enrollment.

Do I need to enroll?

If any of the following apply to you, plan to enroll by Nov. 15:

  • You want to make new elections or changes to your current coverage.
  • You want to add or remove a dependent.
  • You are covering a spouse on a BJC medical plan. (You must complete the annual spousal affidavit.)
  • You want to continue participating in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) next year. Your annual contribution will default to $0 on Jan. 1, 2025, if you do not make a new election.
  • You expect to have leftover Health Care FSA funds from 2024. To roll them over, you must elect the Health Care FSA for 2025.
  • You want to continue contributing to your HSA next year (for High Deductible Health Plan participants).

Review the 2025 Annual Benefits Enrollment Guide, to learn what’s new for 2025, coverage plan details, premiums, steps to enroll and more.

You are eligible to enroll in benefits if you are classified as a regular full-time or regular part-time employee. You can enroll your dependents in the benefits you elect, including your spouse, and children up to age 26.
