What is Total Rewards?
Total Rewards is the package offered to us as BJC team members. It is designed to add value and to meet our needs at work and in life. It covers five distinct areas: Benefits, Career, Compensation, Recognition and Work-Life.
Benefits: Includes health benefits (medical, dental, prescription drug, vision), retirement plans (pension, 401(k)/403(b)), short-term and long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, legal services and adoption assistance. Pension is not offered at all BJC hospitals.
Career: Includes career development and advancement, tuition assistance, learning, training and educational opportunities.
Compensation: Includes salary (base pay, over time, variable), annual salary increases and more.
Recognition: Includes local and system-wide reward and recognition programs and milestone service anniversary celebrations.
Work-Life: Includes paid time off (PTO), paid Parental Leave, the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), employee discounts, well-being offerings and more.
THRIVE: Includes a variety of programs to help all BJC team members thrive emotionally, physically, financially and socially.
