The tuition assistance benefit provides financial assistance to employees who want to continue their education or be trained for a new profession in the health care industry.
Tuition assistance is provided for expenses related to the degree program including courses, books and certain fees. The degree should relate to an employee's present position or be required for a position the employee is seeking to obtain within BJC.
Full-time employees are eligible for up to $4,500 per year in reimbursement; part-time employees are eligible for up to $2,250 per year. To learn more, review the Tuition Assistance Program Overview located on the HR Hub. Once there, select "Find Answers", then select "Tuition Assistance" under the Benefits section in the left navigation bar.
